*Forum Rules and Terms Of Service- Please read.*

Site Rules
The purpose of the rules is to preserve the site's usefulness and community. This list is meant to make it clear what behavior is prohibited and what the consequences are for that behavior.

1. All posts will be signed with the member’s real name. It does not have to include one's last name, but must have at least their first name. No nicknames or alias's will be used as a substation for the member's real name. If the member does not comply they will be warned once then banned on next warning.

2. Family-friendly forum content. We have members and visitors of all ages and want to keep it that way.

No cursing, threats, hate speech, or speech intended to cause or further a "flame war" or personal vendetta

Legitimate disputes conducted in a civil manner are fine, but personal attacks of any sort, including name-calling, innuendo, implication, and rumor-mongering, will NOT be tolerated.

No posts or private messages intended to discredit or antagonize staff and without other substantial value

We were all beginners once and none of us knows everything. Reasonable questions will get reasonable answers. Please be patient and do not ask repeatedly or "bump" your posts to draw attention to them.

No posts promoting illegal behavior will be tolerated, including but not limited to warez/pirating of copyrighted material, illegal drug or alcohol usage, and illegal ownership, trapping, or trafficking of species. Any activities that violate state or federal laws or regulations

Any links or images posted publicly should be family-friendly

If you have a question as to whether something qualifies as "family-friendly" or wish to report a potential problem, please send a private message to any staff member and we will respond as quickly as we can.

First violation: warning via PM and message edited/moved/deleted by moderator or a Admin as appropriate. Second or subsequent violations: public warning, post(s) edited/moved and account suspension. Further or extreme violations WILL cause you to lose your site priveleges.


3. No advertising on the site without prior arrangement with the Admin. This includes, but may not be limited to, starting threads with the specific purpose of attracting visitors to any commercial or competing site or forum or sending PMs to more than one member in a week for the same purpose.

While we do allow linking to other sources, please do so only if the information is not already available here at NAFEX.net and only for the purposes of promoting reasonable and appropriate discussion. Linking for the purpose of slamming another forum, indvidual or any other inflammatory action will not be tolerated.

If you have a forum or commercial site, you are welcome to link to it in your profile or signature, as long as the language used to link to the site does not contain insulting or derogatory language.

All goods, services or animals advertised for sale, trade or adoption MUST be property in posession of the member posting. We appreciate your efforts to try and help your friends and neighbors but they will have to register in order to do this.

When selling a bird, item, or service you must not "bump" the thread to the top more than once every 3 weeks. Posting the same pictures of items or birds in an effort to bump the thread is not allowed. If you are updating your clients please do so via Email do not use NAFEX as your communication tool.

First violation: warning via PM and deletion of material in violation. Second or subsequent violations: deletion of material in violation, public statement by staff regarding violation, account suspension. Further or extreme violations WILL cause you to lose site priveleges.

4. You may not reproduce the posts, photos, caresheets, or other intellectual property of other members, contributors, or staff for use outside the site without express, documented permission of said person. Quoting or linking to material posted, in a reply within NAFEX.Net is, of course, wholly acceptable. Public posting of permission by other member under her/his own user name is considered documented permission, as is non-anonymous email or a stored Private Message on this site.


Please do not post images in the forums greater than 800 pixels wide as not all users have huge or twin monitors. If you want to share a larger image please post the web address (URL). This will help to keep the majority of users from having to scroll needlessly side to side as the forum width changes to accomodate the images - expanding text with it.

5. The site administrators and staff reserve the right to determine what constitutes "acceptable use" of NAFEX.net, and what rules and consequences apply to members and visitors specifically in relation to use of this site. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason and to add or modify rules without prior notification of members and visitors.

Welcome to the NAFEX.Net! This site owned and operated by the Admin. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE CAREFULLY BEFORE USING NAFEX.Net. USE OF THE SITE SIGNIFIES YOUR AGREEMENT TO THESE TERMS OF USE.

1. Agreement to Terms. By using this Site, you signify that you agree to these Terms of Use. In addition, when using particular services available on this Site, you will be subject to any posted guidelines or rules applicable to such services. The sale, auction, lease, loan, gift, trade or barter, or use of any of the text, graphics, photographs, audio and/or video material or stills from audiovisual material or any other materials contained herein, for any other purpose, in any form, media or technology now known or hereafter developed, including the use of any of the aforementioned materials on any other Web site or networked computer environment, without a prior written consent from Admin Council, is strictly prohibited. The creation of derivative works based on the materials contained herein including, but not limited to, products, services, fonts, icons, link buttons, wallpaper, desktop themes, on-line postcards and greeting cards and unlicensed merchandise (whether sold, bartered or given away) is expressly prohibited. You may download one copy of the materials on any single computer for your personal, non-commercial home use only, provided you keep intact all copyright and other proprietary notices. Modification of the materials or use of the materials for any other purpose is a violation of Terms Of Use and other proprietary rights. A. You are welcome to post, transmit or submit messages (collectively "threads") to bulletin boards, chat rooms or other public areas within, or in connection with, this Site (collectively "Forums"). The Admin accepts no responsibility whatsoever in connection with or arising from such Messages. The Admin does not endorse and has limited control over the content of Threads submitted by others to Forums. Threads submitted to Forums are not necessarily reviewed by the Admin prior to posting and do not necessarily reflect the opinions or policies of the Admin . The Admin makes no warranties, express or implied, as to the content of the Threads in the Forums or the accuracy and reliability of any Threads and other materials in the Forums. Nonetheless, the Admin reserves the right to prevent you from submitting Materials to Forums and to edit, restrict or remove such Threads for any reason at any time.

B.The Admin assumes no responsibility for actively monitoring Forums for inappropriate Threads. If at any time, the Admin chooses, in its sole discretion, to monitor the Forums, The Admin nonetheless assumes no responsibility for the content of the Messages, no obligation to modify or remove any inappropriate Threads, and no responsibility for the conduct of the user submitting any Thread. In submitting Threads to Forums, you agree to strictly limit yourself to discussions about the subject matter for which the Forums are intended. C. Children under the age of 13 are authorized to post messages or participate in Forums on this Site with Parental Permission

D. You agree that any Thread whatsoever submitted by you becomes the property of NAFEX.net and may be used, copied, sublicensed, adapted, transmitted, distributed, publicly performed and published, displayed or deleted as the Admin sees fit.


4. Communications. You agree that your activities on the Site (including without limitation submission of any Threads to Forums) will not:

A. infringe NAFEX.net or any third party's copyright, trademark, trade secret or other proprietary rights or rights of publicity or privacy (and by submitting Threads to Forums, you represent that you are the rightful owner of such material or that you have first obtained permission to submit the material from the rightful owner);

B. constitute (or encourages conduct that would constitute) a criminal offense, gives rise to civil liability or otherwise violates any local, state, national or international law or may create liability forNAFEX.net or cause the Admin to lose (in whole or in part) the services of our ISPs or other suppliers;

C. transmit content to be disruptive, unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, pornographic, sexually explicit, hateful, racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable;

H. you may not have more than ONE member name/ID for your private use. If you have a member name/ID already and wish to change your name, you MUST notify an Admin before making any such changes and explain why you feel such a change is necessary. Not all name-change requests will be honored, but names changed without a prior request and permission will automatically be disabled.

I. An account/ID/member name may not be used jointly by a married couple/involved/commited couple or used in such a manner that it is a communal name used on this site by several members of your household. (more than one person using an account is not allowed)


5. Disclaimer of Warranties. THE MATERIALS IN THIS SITE ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMISSIBLE PURSUANT TO APPLICABLE LAW, The Admin (NAFEX.net) DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. the Admin ( NAFEX.net) DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE FUNCTIONS CONTAINED IN THE MATERIALS WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED, OR THAT THIS SITE OR THE SERVER THAT MAKES IT AVAILABLE ARE FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. You agree that The Admin (NAFEX.net) , in its sole discretion, may terminate any account (or any part thereof) you may have with us or use of the Site and remove and discard all or any part of your account or any Submissions, for any reason whatsoever in The Admin (NAFEX.net) sole discretion. The Admin (NAFEX.net) may also in its sole discretion and at any time discontinue providing access to the NAFEX.Net, or any part thereof, with or without notice. You agree that any termination of your access to the Site or any account you may have or portion thereof may be effected without prior notice, and you agree that Admin Council shall not be liable to you or any third-party for any such termination.
