Sweet!clapp
That's cool.
I do SO hope I get drawn for a peregrine this year in NM!
How late does the NM eyass take extend?
7/15
OK every one,the bird is Oddsod my tiercel gyr x peregrine turns 13 in June. The pond is about 300 yards (if that far)from where I took the photos and about 3 miles from my house,I'm spoiled:D "The Hood" When Ken posted the black bird hood I sent him some of the nylon that I have for braces, asked him to try it and if he liked it maybe we could barter.
Ken sent me his # and I called he told me that he had used something similar butt people wanted GORTEX, (I don't know why) the nylon I have works great, stands out better and no sewing. He said that he would make me a hood and I could send him some of the nylon for his personal use. Then comes the paradise hood he made for his friend that sells Hawaiian shirts, hey I know that guy I have a closet full of his shirts. Called Ken told him I wanted one like Duffy's I wear Hawaiian shirts all the time. Time goes by I'm at the 09 NAFA Meet Duffy walks into my room with MY hood on his bird and tells me LOOK WHAT KEN MADE ME! I called him a few unflattering names then he lets me know that it's mine he and Ken had it all planned out.
I want to Thank Ken again for such a awesome work of art.haill Now I need to save up and get one for Stormbringer. Heather were you right?
Chris
would you care to elaborate a bit more on the nylon you are using for hood braces?
From one beach bum to another, nice bird, nice hood and really nice beach!!
Thanks Forrest,I bet you miss that beach right now,no snow drifts!toungeout but no grouse either:(
Here is my Paradise hood for my saker. It is her working hood and I will use the new Wodan as her backup. Have used it for over a year and a half almost daily, the paintings have not peeled or flaked but the greens have faded a bit. I have since eliminated that with a different dye "mix" Chris I am sure we can work something out for Stormbringer.

Idea for hood art that might appeal to falconers from the two gulfs. Persian and Mexico. Oil refineries at sunset.
Chris and Kenn I was right :)......Chris's leash was the clue....and the beach and all :) Great pics!!!!!...Glad Oddsod is doing so well :)
Thanks Heather... good eye picking up on he leash, I think I'm one of the few that still prefer a button end leash. Been making / using those nylon ones for about 10 years. I just love the bright colors.... especially on the lure line when I drop it in the field I can find it again:D
