You could also contact the PGC headquarters in Harrisburg and request a falconry packet with a listing of all permitted falconers in PA

I won't be making it to the picnic this year, but if you ever get up to the northern tier of the state, look me up.
Try to get over to the PFHT picnic near Bellfonte, this coming weekend.

Luke,
Here in PA the season is over. But it is a good time to find falconers to visit. Also good to start your planning for this coming fall.

Welcome Steve and good luck to you.
I don't know Steve at all and I'm not trying to defend him in anyway.
I am tired of reading intro's and then reading beat downs before the newcomer can even get their first step up the ladder....

"Januaryish".
Fred,
If you go back and read Steve's post, he says he hopes to find a sponsor by January.

Hey Mike,
I live for coffee and donuts. I'm a bit far from you, but if your ever coming to the northern reaches of the state, give me a shout or PM.
Best of luck to ya Mike. I don't think we formally meet each other yesterday, although you name rings a bell as a new member. I was the short, bald headed one helping with the raffle.
Same here.
