Hi,
I know you said you contacted WFA about falconers but try Steve Seibert DAL for WFA. He knows those falconers that fly below the radar and there are a couple guys in North central WA. Best...
Washington state is really encouraging the on-line approach. That is followed up with a half day on site which includes a review, a quiz (to make sure the participant actually was to one who...
Not to keep stirring this pot … but
Apprentice license is available to those 16 and OLDER using the two time deferral. All one would need to do is hunt with an over 18 regularly licensed...
Thanks for this thread.
Jeff, I was planning on a Kaufer bird this year but as luck would have it this is a "No eyas" year at my house due to work and home.
I look forward to following your...
Fantastic looking forward to all the shin threads this year as there are a couple WA folks who need to share their new charges as well.
This will be a fun summer to watch :)
I sent you a PM and would be happy to hook you up with some locals.
There is also a small army of abatement folks who will be in Quincy this spring/summer and they are quality people. Might be a...

Must be global warming.
Awesome work Ron!
Local Red Cross couldn't attach my donation to your sponsor code (some regional accounting issue) ... so in spirit my donation is added to your effort another unit of AB...
Awesome sequence :)
That was my assumption but I prefer transparency rather than assumptions. Thanks for clarifying.
Unpack this for me Fred ... who is discriminated against?
Bravo Ron! If I don't make it this year I will give one in NAFAs Honor here locally! Love it. Great work all!
Ally,
I had a similar experience but it didn't go quite as well. I had a young female HH who had a few head under her belt but was still very much a baby. We were hawking near a casino for some...
Welcome!
We used to make the 12 hour overnight pilgrimage to Sacremento and the Arco Arena many moons ago as a regular part of our hawking journeys. Game/Target rich environment in those days ......
Welcome and what a striking bird! Congratulations on the successful breeding of your goshawks.

It will be an interesting thread to follow. Great photos! I love the aspen nests as we rarely see those here in Washington (a few have been found in that setting and several in alders in Western...
Hi
I used to live in Albany back in the 80s. Hunted a lot of quail in the area. Should be a great place to hawk squirrel in those big pecan groves.
Good luck on the test :)

Lee, I am with you. Loving this! Dillon, I am tracking well with your prose. Keep it coming please.
