Ken,

So many good falconers in your neck of the woods....
I agree, Doug's are the best out there.
It's all my buddies here fly with, never lost a bird on one..
I love the PowerMax. The only down side is battery life, but it's booking signal is easy to follow.
What are you looking to fly?
Ally, I'd love to do a Black Jack themed hood for you....if you still want one when I am taking new orders let me know..
Here's a hood that is only 1 1/2 years old that I made for a fellow Utah falconer. He didn't tell me until earlier this year that the hood was a little big, though he used it regardless, and the bird...
I've been using it since 2004, it doesn't out last lizard unfortunately. It is much lighter weight than lizard so I wish it did hold up. Still, it is good for hoods.
Found a good definition on...
It also in how they're tanned and treated, some snake skin when tanned and treated right will hold up better. Ken has it right with this snake skin though, as it's the best I've found for hoods snake...

Did Rob line the inside of these hoods like he usually does?
Just curious why you chose a captive bred Gos over a wild taken bird, (seeing how you live in Montana)?
Ken, terms like dutch, arab, etc are too universal to do anything about BUT Khan is a solid Hooke named hood and has gained some real recognition, have you thought about registering the name as a...
I use to go hawking in the hills in-between La Sierra and Corona in 1994-1995. I drove past it all a couple years ago and it is all house now.
Ken, it's too hard not to do something that's already been done. Shoot, I did that Warplane nose art thing and all the while Bill had been drawing it out too! It's bound to happen to us all :-)

Ray's been doing them forever. Tait started them in the late 90's I believe (correct me if I'm wrong Steve), then Roselle, then Big Jer...etc. The thing that stood out on Big Jer's hoods was how...
Nice Ken. How do you like the Big Jer style raised centers? That is one of the things that hooked me on Jeremy's hoods, it made them stand out a lot and gave his hoods that certain individuality...
