    Default Jackrabbit Photograph

If anyone has a photograph of a jackrabbit running more-or-less straight at you, would you please send me a copy to use in a painting I'm having done. Thanks.

Thanks, Rich, but I don't think she has one.

Bill, I have a photo of a jack that turned towards me for a split second before the HH slammed into it. Its not very good and was taken from a distance, so, its a bit blurry.

I think it's great, very cool action shot.

    Hey Ross,

Cool shot! And, yes the jack is a bit blurry, but I still may be able to use it. Thanks a million.

You never know till you ask though I'll see what I've got. I just might have somethin' if you don't mind it being a whitetail...blacktails I'm pretty sure I don't have a head on though. I've been offline all weekend

    Bill,

It was Jim (raptrlvr) that posted the photo of the Jack and the Harris hawk, not Ross..

Well, it's time you got back on-line, Tasha! :-) Jo sent me a hell of a photograph of a a white rabbit, but see what you got. That would mean I would have to have snow painted in the background; it might save me some money :-)

Jim, my sincere apologies. I guess I saw Ross's name right below your post and responded. Thanks for bringing this to my attention, Kory.

Bill, not a big deal, so, don't worry about it. I have several side shots of jacks if that will help.

    Jim,

That's another great shot; it really show what those rascals can do when running. I really miss hawking JR's with a RT. I had an opportunity to do that quite a bit when I was living in NM; it was exciting, for sure, as they are a pretty good match, with both predator and prey having to maximize their potential.

Anyway, thanks again for the photographs. I'm really in need of photographs of the jack running towards the phtogographer, and I know they are hard to come by.
