    This makes me laugh every time I take her down from the T-perch. Couple of circles in flight then on the car it is.

    car hawking at it's finest!!! wrap that perch better and you can hit 30 mph, LOL!! roof racks seem to have that effect on our hawks... or i could go another direction?... do you get to keep the car if it wasn't yours? we had a nice chevy tahoe the other week, i figured it's the let it lay law"... LOL.

    I m pretty sure the season for Chevys ended March 31.

    How's the bird "noise leve"? Did being hacked make it act more like a wild trapped bird?

    Other than initial "resentment" screams the first week of manning I have not heard a sound out of her in the mews or the field. I don't know if she is as tame as other Harris Hawks, because I have no frame of reference. She returns to the T-perch without tidbitting, and I use an automatic pet feeder (got the idea here) to deliver her food.
