    Default Hello from Michigan

Hi, my name's Jon-Claude. I live in Center Line and my family is part of a hunt club in Tawas that owns 560 acres. I'm currently a student at the local university in Warren.
I've been looking into and studying falconry since last October when my father brought the subject up during White-tail bow season. I don't have a sponsor and I'm scheduling to take my falconry exam sometime within the next week.
I know that this is a great responsibility and I want to take it on and learn from anyone who's willing to teach.

    Default Hello

    Hi Jon-Claude,
Welcome to an obession. I wouild encourage you to visit the Michigan Hawking Club website at michiganhawkingclub.org. It is a good place for local information and club events are a good way to meet other falconers and have a lot of great hawk talk.

Jon-Claude, like Sue said the MHC site is a good place to start.
Also you may want to look at the NAFA web site at www.n-a-f-a.com
Have fun. Let us know how you make out with the test.

Jon-Claude, Welcome to NAFEX. Good luck on your test.
