    Smile Hello from Northern Utah

I'd love to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My Name is Caleb Stroh, and I reside in Kaysville, Utah (A small town north of Metro Salt Lake City.)

I have been very much interested in falconry since I was little, but between college and work (i.e. paying for college)…I never made the plunge. I have, however, lurked silently behind the scenes these several years. How things have changed...yet stayed the same!

I am currently at the point in my life where the start of a hopefully very rewarding falconry relationship makes sense.

I’ve been involved with the local DNR here for several years, sit on several board positions, and absolutely love wildlife, conservation, ecology, biology, bird dogs & raptors.

    And so here I am.

I hope it will be my pleasure to learn and watch.

    Most respectfully,

    Caleb Stroh

    Caleb,

Since you live in Utah, make it a point to go to the NAFA meet this year (Thaksgiving week); this would be a great way to experience falconry.

Welcome Caleb. I second the idea of you visiting the national meet in Vernal this year. It's a unique opportunity that doesn't come to your area very often.

What board positions do you hold with DNR?

Thanks fellas! I've been "out of the loop" for several years now and its taking me a little longer to gather my wits about me than it used to.

Turns out I'll need to retake the test before I go much further. Been out of school so long I'm not sure I can still take a standardized test! I think I've actually gotten a little slower since graduation! Study up I guess.

I should also clarify that I don't hold any board positions within the DWR, only several other foundations that work closely with them.

Funny thing, I aint been this excited in some time.
