Default NAFEX 2011 Dinner and Raffle - Vernal Utah

It's that time of year again... I am beginning to plan for the 4th annual NAFEX dinner and raffle. It will be held during the NAFA meet in Vernal, Utah. I am still trying to decide on a suitable venue for the dinner, which will be much easier once I know how many will be attending. I do not want to base it off of last year's numbers, since Vernal is a bit off the beaten path for many.

The raffle at the dinner is free. The only stipulation is you have to be an active NAFEX member. I want to thank the past raffle sponsors for their donations. Without all of your generous contributions, the dinner would not be such a success.

    ------

    Dinner location and Times

The dinner will be heled at the 7-11 ranch restaurant at 700pm. The raffle will be held around 8-815pm

    November 22nd

    7-11 Ranch Restaurant
    (435) 789-1170
    Vernal
    77 E Main St
    Vernal, UT 84078

    ---------

See below for the past NAFEX dinners and raffles.

** If you have anything you would like to donate to this years raffle, please email me or PM me your item. Anything is greatly appreciated**

Please complete the following poll so that I can better estimate the number of prospective attendees.

I am looking forward to seeing everyone again. Happy hawking!

    Chris

Not sure what my plans are yet. I'm going to be flying out, and leaving my team of dogs and hawks behind, so probably wont plan on being there for much more than the meet. (wanna get back, and get hawkin')

I'll definitely be looking for folks to get out and do some hawking with though, since I wont have my own.

Chris, my attendance will of course depend on any obligations as a NAFA DAL, but if I can make it (really want to!) it will be me and a friend.

Oh, and you can count on me for a Launcher Leash for your Raffle. We can get together at the Meet to do the transfer. I'm booked at the Meet hotel.

I'll bring another book OR I can just put my Peregrine Falcon on a block in the middle of the room and allow everyone gaze at him. Your choice.

Mario- I'm using those paracord jesses. They're real handy. I use the leash as a leash and also to just run thru the bracelets when in the field. Thanks for submitting those.

Well - hold of thanking me until the donation is actually made. It may not end up being worth a thanks.

I hope I find the time to make something nice, but I may end up just having to donate some stuff I have laying around. Been pretty busy for the last several months.

Chris, put me down for a hood donation and hopefully me and a guest will be there. I can't fully commit to being there (at the dinner/raffle) yet but I'll be in Vernal Monday on.

    Steve,
Thats great thank you, your hoods are awesome. One of the first hoods I had was mad by you. Someone is going to get a great hood.

Lets try to meet up in Vernal. Where are you staying?

Thanks guys for all of the great items.

I'm gonna try to make it again this year. Still have to work out the details though, it's a long drive from MD. If I end up flying there without bringing a bird with me I hope someone will let me tag along for some hawking.

If I can make it I will bring something for the raffle again too. I have a nice bottle of Scotch that someone might like to win.

Chris, I think I'm staying at the host hotel. I let my friend take care of the details. I plan on chasing grouse the whole week.
