Not the first time that book has been for sale. I seem to remember that it was much higher the last time though. It was posted on here back then too.

I saw that the other day too. It would be cool to have a calf bound book as old as that one...I envy the guy who buys it.

Well, I tried to track one down for you and it looks as though it hasnt been scanned afterall. I am certain I found it on the library that google is putting together of public domain works. Edmund Bert's work on goshawks is up there.

    Hi Geoff,

I believe you are correct to a degree, but I'm pretty sure you'll only find small sections available.

    Best wishes,

    Tony.

I have strong recollection that I downloaded it as a PDF from Google books, but I cant find it on my PC and I cant find it on google books any longer.

As an obviously public domain work, its exactly what teh google books library was intended for.

Aw, I'd thought I'd found the free version but I'm having the same problems (I've never used Google books before.) I'll buy that other one soon as I can, unless the free one shows up.
