Received a call from Kevin Morgan who was on a Christmas Bird Count near Baton Rouge. They spotted a smaller falcon (smaller than a peregrine, but bigger than kestrel/merlin size) with equipment. Location: Cameron Prairie Wildlife Refuge, Pintail Loop. He thought it was my bird, but I told him how my bird was killed. His number for more info: 225-324-2613.
