Hunting with falcons&goshawks

Here's a video from the last meet/hunt we, as a Slovenian falconers, had in our country. I think camera man more than fulfilled our expectations and made one hell of a movie. There could only be a bit more of action taped in the air but you know how hard is to catch all the fast flights, especially in more enclosed terrain.

Extraordinary edits in timing made this pop for me!!! Your subtlety in application of these in my opinion at this time on my learning curve really punctuated the character of the birds. I also so appreciate good focus on the handler expression, something I find lacking in other work to date. Great choice of music!

In the early morning we departed from Slovenia to Vivaro(Italy) to attend a falconry meeting and contest with falcons/hawks. Marija was representing Slovenia with her falcon Razor. Due to the another owners dog, which could not find game in time she finished in still perfect 5th place.
