Default VFA - Harrisonburg Meet - Anyone going?

The Virginia Falconers Association is having their Harrisonburg Meet January 15th, 16th, and 17th, see the link below for more information.

Is anyone going? Myself and a couple other NC falconers are going up and it would be fun to meet some folks that are on here and maybe go out hunting together. We won't be staying at the meet hotel as one of my friends has a new girl friend from Harrisonburg and she wants us to stay at her house. But we will get to the meet hotel in plenty of time to meet up and can share some of our spots or go with you all to your spots as we don't really know much about the area and are only going to spots that his girl friends family has acreage. We may also be going out with Lee Chichester, as she is a really good friend. If interested in meeting, send me a private message and I will give you my cell number.

    Happy Hawking,

Good day today, my buddies cast of Hh's caught 2 rabbits and Sally caught one in the morning. We were alone in the morning but went out with some VA folks in the afternoon and watched them catch some bunnies. Pictures later when I get home.

My buddy Damon took most of the pictures and he hasn't sent them to me yet. But here is a few of Friday morning when Dan's cast of HH's caught a bunny. It was a great flight where his male had missed and his female did a wingover from about 10 feet up and when she hit the bunny, they bounced off the ground about a foot. Here is a sequence of photo's after the catch. Dan makes in and dispatches the rabbit, picks it up with both HH's attached, drops 2 tidbits on the ground and the birds release and drop to the ground and he bags the rabbit and we continue hunting.

I will post some more pictures when I get them from Damon.

Hey guys, I'm in the va beach area and was wondering if anyone needed or wanted a brush beater for the next time they go out. I've hunted before, but with guns. I'd like to eventually get into falconry but right now that's not possible. So I figured why not help out some other falconers while I learn. Thanks.
