Default Lost RT in Morrisville NC

    Hi,

I lost my RT Yiska in Morrisville NC on 1/29/12. We last saw him around 4:00pm. He had a transmitter on, but we lost signal shortly after he took off , so I believe as it was an older model transmitter, he was able to dismantle it to where the battery fell out. The frequency was 216053 though and we keep checking on that frequency just in case. I don't doubt he's already removed his jesses, but of course he should still have at the very least, his cuffs with bells on. I will try to add a picture if I can figure out how to. Anyhow he is my first falconry bird and I miss him so much. He wasn't just a tool to use in hunting for me and I really would love to have him back. Anyone in NC who can keep their eye out for him I would greatly appreciate it. You can reach me by phone at 919-244-8200

Well guess I can't add a picture but if you are able to use this link it will show you a picture of him. ttp://www.flickr.com/photos/37803387@N02/?saved=1

Congrats Vicki, did you trap him or did someone else over that way help you get him back?

    Hey Fred,

I got a call from Richard Shores who had been contacted by a woman who was at the observation site where Yiska was spotted. Richard knew about Yiska being gone and the area he was lost in and immediately called me. I was able to leave work to go out there and trap him. Sorry I didn't respond sooner. This is the first time I have been back on Nafex since I reported the fact that I found him on this website.
