Rich,
The belt buckle is wonderful. I'm enjoying it very much.
I'm in West County, near hwy 270. Fun place to be living for sure, especially as a falconer.
Cheers,
Christian

Hi Christian and welcome aboard, that is one fine looking bird. Good way to get your apprenticeship started. Congrads.
Thanks, Keith Denman

All,
Thanks for the hearty welcome- I appreciate it.
Keith- this is actually my second bird- my first RT, the first bird I trapped- I flew after squirrels and rabbits in September and October before she hit a window while chasing a rabbit. She was an amazing bird, and every day I think about her and the wonderful flights I witnessed. The new bird is gorgeous, flies differently, and is a completely new experience contrary to what I first had. I think I'm kind of spoiled having two great birds my apprentice year, but I'm having the time of my life!

That is a good area to be a falconer! I grew up on The Hill, but when I had a falconry bird I was in college and living right near Grant's Farm. I miss the great game in MO...not quite the same here. Althought I can't stand extended winter, so I think I'm in the right spot!

Tracy,
DUCKS!?! My dream is to fly a longwing on ducks. Can you use another flusher? I have young legs, and would be happy to come along and film the hunt. Drop me a PM if I can tag along... if not I'm trying to fly with a local longwinger later this weekend after ducks.
Cheers,
Christian
