Hello everyone, brand spanking new member to the forums.

My name is Alex Metea, from Los Angeles, CA. Undergrad environmental biologist focusing on raptors. I plan to pursue a masters and PHD in raptor biology/ecology/who knows what.

Recently attended the California Hawking Club's annual field meet to see what falconry is like in person, and after years of mulling it over I'm going to take the plunge!

Studying for my apprentice exam, met a great gentleman nearby who invited me to go hunting and possibly apprentice under him. If all goes well, I definitely will!
