    Default Throwing names around..

This is to the few that have remarked that I always bring up John Moran and Clayton Smith. I thought is was obvious but please let me explain. In my opinion these two were not only two of the finest to ever make a hood,, but they both were just so far ahead of their time. John of course with perfect fitting hoods , with his artwork, dogtooth carvings on both the center and eye panels then dying of the leathers and using leather washers (donuts) and on and on all this 40 YEARS ago,, Clayton as well with supurb fitting hoods, with his raised center deck, a more refined donut, hood protector etc all 20-30 years ago. These two guys certainly set the bar and have provided the modern hood maker with so many neat ideas and twists.
