No signal today. There are mountains that are hindering this search. We believe he started following the Columbia River between Washington and Oregon.
Anyone along the Columbia to Portland OR please go out side and do a sweep. We tracked him most of the day yesterday. He's was real high. He should be stopping to hunt sometime. He loves balling up starlings. He should come to a garnished lure and a whistle. He doesn't like tall grass though. He prefers dirt or short grass to set the lure on.
Thanks

Get in touch with the local HAM radio operators in your area. They may be able to find and locate the bird's signals. They also do something called a "Fox Hunt" where they do search and rescue exercises.

but man's relationship with his hawk --- Terance Hanbury White~~
Thanks Kitty. I have forwarded that information to Dan.
I need to add that this is an immature bird.
