    Default Hunting Photos

    Hi im new on here and was wondering if you had any hunting photos your particularly proud of and wouldnt mind sharing?

    Once i manage to understand how to post photos i will post a couple myself :-)

    How to post photos this will help w/your posting'

    as to the other, there several photo threads running now.

    And before the forum police wake up, one of the rules here is to sign your posts. Check your User CP and you can set up an automatic signature.. There's a few others in Forum rules.

    kitana is the common grackle related to the corvid family dont have those here in the UK similar shaped bill to our Jackdaws

    Thanks Katy, she caught many more and large males at that, but this one is special as it was her very first, and her second catch.

    Andy, the Common grackle is not related to crows, it belongs to the Icteridae family, with the Orioles, American blackbirds, cowbirds, and many others. Ths one is a young female, but you should look up for pictures of mature males, they are splendid birds.

    This Wani (Wa-nee) my new Passage Female Red-tail Hawk for the hunt of 2012 to 2013. She trapped at 52oz. and is a great Red-tail to hunt with. Date when trapped 9/17/2012

    Andy, thanks for the great photoed introduction. I couldn't help but notice that your Goshawk has red eyes. I thought this was a trait mainly limited to the North American version. How common are red eyes in German Goshawks?

    Oh... we hunt. You won't need to look very far for all the gore that you want.

    Hi sharptail my German Goshawk was quite old she s 20yrs old in these photos. As far as I know its not ever so common, to see red eyes because most goshawks dont live long enough for there eyes to turn red.

    But im sure somebody will correct me, diet plays a part also.

    Got to love those red eyes :-)
