It has pretty much grown into a female at this point. She weighed in @ 419 grams this morning, empty. I pulled out the female Barbary X Teita who is many years older and made the opposite way and has several large flight and tail feathers out (they have to weigh something right?) and she weighed exactly the same...to the gram! So for the answer to the age old question, does it make a difference on what the size of the egg it comes out of? Apparently not a bit!
I will say that they do seem to differ in some ways because of the different influences, but, I'll wait until she is fully feathered out to see if my perception of her now compared to the opposite hybrid hold up.
