Hey guys! We just bred my little 7 lbs. mini-doxie Suli to a great little male from my buddy Bill Boler. Suli is a leggy girl that was bred and run by Teddy Moritz for her first 3 years before I got her. If I remember correctly, she was one of Teddy's youngest national field champions. She's got the long "leg" that both Teddy and I prefer, while still having the small chest circumference to go down the smallest holes.

Teddy bred her once and kept one of her pups, so she's actually in the pedigree of a lot of Teddy's recent line.

I haven't bred her in a couple of years because I hadn't found a male that I felt was the perfect match...that is...until now. That male is out of my buddy Bill Boler's breeding. Jimmy is a small 8 lbs. male with two blue eyes (he's what they call a double dapple) and has a fantastic confirmation.

Both of these dogs are great in the field (besides being great house dogs) and the pairing should produce some great little killer hunting dogs. Suli's first two litters produced 7 puppies each (a "prolific" trait which she seems to have passed along to many of her daughters).

The pups will all be AKC registered and will sell for $500 which is what most of us who breed off of Teddy's line ask for our pups. I don't ask for a deposit until I know that I have a puppy for you. But let me know asap if you're interested, to ensure a spot on the list.

Here's an article about Suli and Teddy done by the Terrierman blog a couple of years ago. http://terriermandotcom.blogspot.com/2007/05/dachshund-power.html

Feel free to contact me or Teddy to find out more about this great cross.
