    Default Books...

Hello, I'm looking for comprehensive books on each of three different subjects:

    1) Raptor health/diseases/medicine

    2) Building mews/weathering yards

    3) Hoodmaking

I have precisely zero experience and almost no knowledge of any of these subjects, so books directed towards beginners would be better. Anyone got any suggestions? Perhaps what I'm looking for doesn't exist, but I thought its worth asking!

    Thanks

If you're just wanting basics, this book shows how to make a simple mews and hood, among other things:

I found it useful. One of the authors is a member here.

For health and disease, I know Nick Fox's book has quite a bit of info on the subject.

Thanks, but I already have the equipment book... I was thinking of something that has building plans and more detailed pictures (maybe there is no such book). I've never really built anything LOL

Anyway... what I was asking is there any book dedicated to different mews/weathering yard designs with plans? Maybe this is too specific...

    Thanks for your time
