Jonathan,
First of all, I sincerely thank you for serving, nothing nobler in my opinion.
First tip, run and save your sanity, lol But seriously when you get to Missouri feel free to contact me so we can get some hawking in.
Tony’s a good guy to go out hawking with too.
Take care man

To late to run lol. Thanks Eric. I can't wait to get started when I get back.
Hey John, welcome and good luck. Thank you for your service. Where at in Mo are you looking at moving? I'm currently working on finishing up my mews to get my license transferred and reinstated. I'm in the south, but most seem to be toward the north. I haven't had a chance to personally meet the others yet, but hope to change that soon. Hope it all works out. If there is anything I can help with, let me know and I'll do what I'm able to.

I'll be moving close to St Louis. I wish you luck and hope your mews turns out great. I've met a master falconer while on leave in Missouri and he is a great guy that took me on a hunt with him and it was amazing and I can't wait to learn more from him.
John, thank you for serving this great country! Good luck and be safe.

Thanks mils
Welcome, John! I'm an army brat, who grew up and married a soldier, who is now retired - thank you for serving in the military; your service is appreciated! As for pointers, read everything you can get your hands on, pertaining to falconry. Best wishes to you! Flying my red-tail is the most fun I've ever had hunting. Breeze is an awesome hunting partner!

Thanks deb.
thanks everyone for the warm welcome
A warm welcome to Missouri, the St Louis area may just be heaven on earth in Missouri for hawking. A1 is my rating if you want to hunt rabbits.

Seconding Bob, here. I live about two and a half hours from STL in Southern Illinois and I would LOVE to be able to hawk in STL every day of the season. You guys have it set up good there and the falconry community is thriving in MO. You picked a great place to get started

The community is great. I was invited and went lol on 4 different hunts while home in Missouri this last week before deployment. And it was amazing.
Thank you for your service, sir! Hope to see you flying a bird in Missouri someday! Which part of the state are you looking to reside in, if you don't mind me asking?
