Hello from South Florida
Hello all! I'm Steven and im new to this forum and forums in general haha. However, I'm really interested in falconry and decided to sign up here. I'm 17 years old and have various hobbies such as football, airsoft, and playing guitar. I'm also in the Miami area but I feel like falconry is not popular here. I could be wrong but that's why I signed up. I want to meet other falconers and hopefully meet one who will teach me.

I've been on the site before. It was very helpful. My next goal is to meet other falconers who could help me and guide me through the various steps. I'm waiting until I feel confident enough to know that I have others to learn from. I dont know any other falconers personally and sadly I tend to be shy and reserved. I want to be prepared for anything once I begin my journey.

I'm an old snowbird that spends winters in the Hernando County area. There are a number of Florida falconers on this site. I'd suggest becoming very familiar with the FL falconry rules and the procedures of becoming licensed, the time involved, and attend some events to meet Florida falconers. Falconry is much more than a hobby.
