What I saw on my way to work this morning...

Saw these two beautiful birds on my way to work this morning. They were only about 100 yards away from one another. The peregrine was not happy to pose for my picture (hence the quality), but the Merlin was fat and happy and barely even looked my way, even when I got out of the car and got right underneath him in the tree. You can see his crop in the picture, it looked like he might fall over from how big it was! The elderly lady down the street will be seeing one less bird at her feeder
