    Default Newbie in Florida

    Hi all
    My name is Dawn Grisco Mccullough I am 43 years old, married,with two grown children (or at least they think they're grown) and I have raised, trained, and shown Great Danes in obedience and agility competitions at both National and International. I have had a lifelong interest in falconry - spurred on by my uncles unfortunately they live(d) across the country from me - California, Idaho, you get the picture.
    And so this brings me to this website/forum... where it is my hope that I meet people like me in my area that I can go and pester to find out more about falconry and if it is a suitable lifestyle for me.

    Thanks for the reply!
    I believe that I have met you several times in person during your demonstration at the Highland games and Green Cove Springs. I was probably one of the few that kept my hands to myself and LISTENED. I missed you this year you were always the highlight of the Games. I think you are just over an hour away from me so hopefully we will be able to catch up.
    I do have a question for you. What is the percentage of women falconers. it seems that there are relatively few female names on most of the sites I've seen.
