Looking for a sponsor in Miami Fl

Hi everyone! i am trying to pursue the path of falconry and i need all of the advice i can get. i have printed the applications for the florida fish and wildlife commission and the federal application, but i understand that i need to have a sponsor before taking the apprenticeship exam. i live on an avocado grove infested with squirrel and can offer a good hunting ground for locals. please let me know who is around and how i can get involved. thanks a lot.

Welcome to our passion. One suggestion for you would be to join your state club. In fact, I think Florida has two clubs, if I'm not mistaken. Once you join, you will probably get access to the club's membership list. Then, you'll be able to find some folks around you. However, most potential sponsors will want to get to know someone before "offering" to sponsor them. Your chance of getting someone to agree to sponsor you via an online request isn't very good.
