Default Florida old timer looking for help

I want to introduce myself, my name is Robert and I am a retired man in Port Saint Lucie Florida .No doubt the future of falconry is with are youth , and as a father of three and grandfather of nine I truly do support our youth. The only thing is this old fart is not dead . I have lived and hunted in Florida most of my life ,coon hunted ,hog and deer hunted and always enjoyed Florida swamps and woods . I have been flying radio controlled planes west of Saint Lucie and I find that I spend most of my time following Hawks .That is on foot, I have just been spellbound by watching them and can not get them off my mind. I have joined clubs ,sent off for California Apprenticeship Manuals, read everything I can get my hands on . I will go to meeting in Sept. ,and hopefully get to meet some of you . I would love to meet someone in this area , to talk to about all of Falconry. Safe flying to all of you

Hi Robert, like to hear such a story.
Personally I have some days in a year I invite the oldest active falconer of Holland, mr. Jac van Gerven. He's 83 now and his gos is 15 years this season.
    Those are fine days!

    Enjoy falconry.

Hello Robert: I am 70 years old, and in the process of building a mesw in order to regain my Falconers license.
I started Falconry in 1966, and continued until 1998.
Now I wish to get back in and am in the process of building a mews, and rounding up my scattered, moldering gear, (and rear) in order to be ready for this years trapping season.
As was stated before (somewhat differently), if your still above ground,
You should be able to handle it O,K.

    Good luck in the pursuit.
    Wm, (Bill) Maguire

I hunt in the PSL or the Pizzle as the youths refer to it. You are welcome to call me and tag along as we hunt in your backyard.

It all starts with a little bit of obsession. Glad that you want to give it a try. There is nothing like it in the world!
