I bought this Scout VHF Transmitter in May and used it during an abatement contract for a month (the majority of the time I used a powermax).
Lightly used (I don't believe I even changed the batteries once), works perfectly, tap-on/off magnet switch, and tailmount.
(comes with some extra batteries)

I also have a back pack plate (no teflon ribbon, just plate)

I believe I payed near $200 for it all...asking $150.
