Pretty good turnout for our NM falconers picnic yesterday. The club was invited to have the picnic at Lars and David Sego's new breeding facility. Big operation and so far nicely done. Food was good and the day was a complete success. Richard Everest had his immature black Gyr Prairie and did a quadcopter lure flight, but, the prairie must not have liked the crowd and took off. All ended well with the bird being retrieved by Richard and Lars. Paul Domski put a bakPac on a prairie and several of us got to watch the procedure. Several falconers brought their birds, but, all of them were falcons.
