A passage red-tailed hawk has been spotted in the north Denver metro area with jesses and bells. This bird was first spotted by a wildlife photographer on November 24th and was not spotted again until today. This bird does not have a band on and I spoke with the CPW Special Licensing agent and she does not have any reports of any missing passage red-tailed hawks... so this bird could possibly be from out of state. We have falconers out trying to spot the bird and trap it. If you think this might be your bird, please send me a private message and hopefully we can get the bird back to its owner.
