Hello all! I'm a brand new 26 year old pre-apprentice located in the SF Bay Area. I've joined the California Hawking Club and have my study guide and apprentice manual on the way. I've been interested in falconry for some time now and I'm anxious to start diving deeper into the sport to find as much as I possibly can. I definitely have some of the usual logistic type stuff to figure out (places to fly a hawk, places to hunt, what other hobbies/activities I need to cut out to make time for falconry, etc) but I'm super excited to get started figuring all this stuff out.

There's no such thing as the perfect time and there is never any time like the present so I've decided to just go for it. I'm excited to be here and I'm looking forward to being a part of this awesome community!
