Drahthaar vs Brittany vs Wirehaired pointing Griffon

I just put down my hunting partner of 12 years a male Drahthaar, Aden. He was bar none the best hunting dog I've ever owned.Dont think I could replace him, but here I am looking at different pointing breeds. First a Brittany from the breeder whereHarry McElroy got his pup. I looking into Wirehaired pointing Griffon. WPG not mentioned too much on this forum. Finally another Drahthaar. Problem with A Drahthaar is that when your training them they need a consistent and firm hand. Don't know if I want to go through Puppy Time with another Drahthaar plus comparing it to my previous male. Any info on Griffons would be appreciated.Brittany feedback welcomed too.
