Heavy and Extra Heavy Roo Hides just in from Australia

Recently back from a trip to Australia, I have a limited selection of hand-picked heavy and extra heavy 1.4-1.5mm kangaroo hides. These are very clean with limited to no scratches. There are some that are as thick as 1.6-1.8mm, but they tend to have heavier scratches so I tried to avoid those but was able to find a select few.

To get truly heavy kangaroo skins, you have to get Eastern Greys. They are much heavier than the Reds. The Eastern Greys however are also much more aggressive. To get the heaviest skins you need to have the largest skins and of course these are the dominant males. In an effort to find the highest quality kangaroo hides for falconry, it's a rather daunting task going through a thousand skins to only keep about 25-30 hides that were clean enough.

Most of the full hides run between 30-36 inches long and 38-46 inches wide, or ~ approximately 8.5-9.2 square feet

One additional note I forgot to add about these, the are drumstuffed and veg tanned (bark) as a number of people have asked.
