My son and I have passed the Florida State Falconry exam. We have a mew built and the gear that is required by the State. We live in Northeastern Florida. I have experience in Falconry and I was a practicing falconer from 1976 until 1985. But it was from a foreign country that did not license falconers until after I stopped, so I am beginning again as an apprentice. Your best bet in finding a sponsor is through your state club. Any potential sponsor worth their salt will want to meet you, and you should also want to meet them. Not all sponsors are created equally, and certainly not all apprentices either. Good luck.
