I think that photos are overrated, Fred you sure clean up nice.

Two things Bob, First, you forgot your glove! LOL Second, you left out the [ at the very beginning of your photo post or it would have worked.

Fred it's a long story but it was the only way I could hunt the field, as everyone who hunts in Dodge knows it is a well known "gos field."
I had to borrow the bird at the last minute to gain entry and didn't have a glove.

ps she bagged a bunny in a 100 yd flight and then I needed to borrow a bag to put it in.

Heather, I was out in Dodge last month with 2 goshawkers, the big joke was that I was in a gosfield most of the time. The tercel and hen Harris each caught a jack( I was afraid to hunt the two together due to her aggressive nature) The goshawkers caught the heck out of cottontails, but went home empty with the jacks. We had a great laugh. There are way more jacks taken in the fields of Dodge with Harris hawks, They rule!

Conor, I consider you one of the best photographers on this site and have enjoyed so many of your pics that I will gladly oblige. I don't tend to take many photos while I'm hawking so the pics are scarce with such a new bird. I'll dig up what I can. A PFRT I had several years ago was a Harlan's also.....very dark bird. She moulted darker every year, flew her 5 seasons. Had no digital camera back then so I have no easy photos to post. Talk to you later.

Might not get a chance to meet any of you but since I have replied to some of these topics I figure you should at least know what I look like.

    Happy hunting to all!!

Since we're coming up on Dodge City, I thought I'd toss a couple pictures of me up.
