I guess I'm like a lot of people in that I've been interested in falconry since I was a kid but couldn't actually getting involved due to the necessary commitment of time, money, etc.
Lately I've found myself thinking more and more about getting involved. The final straw was yesterday when a young hawk took a frog in my back yard. I called my wife to come see, took lots of pictures, a little video, and was able to approach while the falcon had his lunch on my fence.
My wife knows that it's something I've always wanted to get involved with and I guess she could just see it on my face as I walked back toward the house. She gave me the high sign before I even opened my mouth. So here I am, with the wife's seal of approval.
I'm going to take my time, learn all I can and hope everyone doesn't mind a few dumb questions.
