raptrlvr,
the first pic said Moose ROADKILL??
I dread the responses, but what hit it? Holly cow, a deer will destory a car i cant fathom what a moose will do!!
after working at the BOP Facility, it is truly amazing to see the transformation from juvinail to adult bald eagle.
as always great pic's!!
Yea, those moose will tear up a car and the people in it. I got to watch my golden transform from an immature to an adult over 4 seasons. I trapped him at about 2 years old and now he is 6 with no white left in his tail.

Yep! It think something like 700 moose are killed annually on the roads in Alaska, we've come close to hitting them countless times. It's rare any kind of vehicle comes out less than totalled after hitting a moose, and many people die from the collisions too.
I don't mind at all . Really great shots, thanks a lot for sharing them!

We used to have that problem in New Hampshire too, when it's dark all you can see are the legs in the headlights because the moose are so tall. People would hit them at night right around the knee area and the rest of the moose would come falling through the roof of their cars. That's a whole lot of animal falling on your head....Yep! Don't mistake what you can know for all there is to know.
