Hi Isobel, I get that response quite often from people. They are even more shocked when they see one in action with a ring, but then those are the bows of the Steppe Horseman and the Horse, the Ring and the Bow enabled him to conquer Eurasia.
They are pretty but scary little beasts and are designed for the ring. Mastering one makes you a true Lord of the Ring on horseback.
They are my passion and culture as is falconry not my occuapation.
chris,
I have heard of spit fire. Nice horse bow.
I shoot a black widows and have taken bull elk in the rut with mine, but those are some very nice bows you make.
I am going to spend a little time on your web page.
Nice to know your on this forum!

Hi Rick..!
Is that an Iredale..?
I used to chase bears with a pack of those crazy guys which I threw in with my Plott Hounds or shall I say 1/3 Staffordshire Teriers and 2/3 Plott Hound...
very sweet bows. I shoot a 55# Kassai Mongol style. With and without the thumb ring. But I am faster without Do you sell thumb rings as well?
