Any more pictures from the meet? I'd love to see some.

I'd like to hear more about the AFC meet. How big was it? Was there alot of fun to be had? How many liked it enough to go to the next one? Will there be a next one? (and a whole bunch of other questions I'm finding difficulty putting to words.) etc.......

I would definitely go again. All in all there were probably 50ish people coming and going. Some came on the way to the eagle meet, some after a couple days at the eagle meet, some on the way trapping, some on the way to the NAFA meet, and some just for the AFC meet itself. I think dinner Thurs had the most people there about 35. It was not the first AFC (WRTC) meet and likely not the last.

I met up with my english buds in guthrie OK . which was really stupid because we turned around and came back north the El Dorado to go to the afc meet .. complete waist of fuel and time. My english buds gary wren and guy whitmarsh and I headed to el dorado .. if we would have been thinking we would have had gary and guy come up to there and not waisted the time going to guthrie ok.. some times i am really short sighted.. anyways we got there and it was cold and it was turning wet and sleeting. we watched the weather and decided to head to the west part of the state toward garden city way as the weather appeared much better there.. we got a chance to visit with a few falconers but we bailed .. I think you could have hawked right outside the hotel immediately behind the hotel.. we were seeing bunnies there at night.. so we were only there for a limited time in the very beginning.
As I get older I am learning and yearning to appreciate people that have the same interests that I do and only get to see them for a short period of time.. Got a chance to meet and come to know Geroge Bristol and others. Able to help mend a few fences and it all turned out good.
eventually we headed to Woodward and I approached woodward more on the Social aspect this time around as I was only going to be there for the first 3 days. I missed the meetings and I quess i really missed some good infor but I like the idea .. But of course we go out the week before on our way to the meet and really push the bush so to speak.

Krys, you shouldn't have posted those last two pictures. LOL Man, you can see we were road weary. We had just driven about 20 hours straight.
Well, you posted more pictures before I could post. The last two in the previous post are the ones I am talking about. LOL

Are these Brian McDonald hoods?
If they are, does anybody know how much he charges for a hood like these?
