Hey Scott,
Shouldn't take long at all. The board is given the opportunity to review each applicant. Usually in the range of a week and the applicant is approved. You then would receive an email notification with login info for the members only section of the website as well as being put on the regular email list.
Has the ball been dropped in your case or are you just asking out of curiosity?
Let me know! Happy to help.
Thanks,
Jason

The membership process works as follow:
1- We receive the online application.
2- Application is forwarded to the Board for review.
3- Two weeks are allowed for the board to submit recommendations.
4- After the two weeks waiting period, if no concerns were received, the applicant is sent payment information.
5- Once payment is receive the applicant gets approve and gets access to the Members Only section.
Scott Coleman’s two weeks recommendation waiting period ends on July 25.

Thanks for the info. I was expecting immediate gratification, I guess. In actuality two weeks is a reasonable time period to wait .

Ok got approved and paid my dues. Next question - how do I get a user ID and password for AFC's website?
