Jim,
I would like to welcome you to NAFEX. I have not had the pleasure of meeting you in person but we have some mutual friends that speak very highly of you.
Thank you for the kind words regarding NAFEX. The past few weeks have been rough but it comes with the territory and we will keep on trucking. We can't make everyone happy but try our hardest. You summed it best with, "Although disagreements will naturally occur, it is important to listen to others and be tolerant of our differences." I couldn't have said it better.
NAFEX's main goal is to get information out to falconers in a proactive and non-confrontational way. Although most of our information pertains to falconry in the USA, we do enjoy our international members. I feel it is important that we all work together to keep our sport alive for generations to come.
I feel AFC and NAFEX are a great fit. Jason, Eric and Bridget have done a fantastic job with keeping NAFEX up to date with AFC information and current issues. I can't thank them enough for being so active in making the AFC section a welcome addition to NAFEX.
Both of our organizations are going to have some trying times ahead. Some will be for us and some will do there best to be against us. We can learn from all of these interactions and grow as a stronger voice for falconers.
I look forward to the future with the AFC. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you ever need anything. Thank you again for posting and I look forward to meeting you in the near future.
happy hawking to you
Chris

Thanks Chris!
Jim,
I have asked this to several AFC directors and they all say soon. LOL When is AFC going to have stuff for sale (t-shirts, stickers, patches, etc.)? It is time!
