I will mainly car hawk and night hawk him. I am sure I will get bored and hit the fields. But for now that is my plan. I really want to build his confidence with me and gain a lot of trust. If I can just focus and be disciplined this first year, he will be solid from then on.

Jim, that is what I am trying to do now. It seems to be working. No screaming so far. So we will see.

I flew him tonight at 745 and he bound instantly to the quail. So next plan of action is to see how far he will go for one. I will take him to a new field and new environment and see if he is still focused.
