    Default 2010 NAFA Meet Announcement

I have posted some information that Kevin Suedmeyer - Meet Chairman has given me that will be in the upcoming Hawk Chalk. You can see it on the NAFA website at:

    http://www.n-a-f-a.com/Meets.htm

This year there will be two ways to register for the meet - Manual and Online. The Manual Registration will be as before, a form you fill out and then print and mail in with your check. The Online Registration will also be a form you fill out while online and be able to print a copy and then you will hit the Submit button and it will automatically take you to PayPal to make payment. The Online Registration will most likely have a 2% surcharge to cover the cost for credit card submission and PayPal's cut, the details are being worked out at this time.

Thanks Chris! Only 17 have registered so far, so I wasn't sure if folks were aware it was available. Plenty of time between now and November. And yeah, it really is great to see NAFA moving forward and even greater to be part of it. We all can do a little!

That was supposed to be updated "with", not "will". Oops!

Fred, he is saying that his address on the NAFA Meet website is wrong. Should be PO Box 5663, not 5653.

I just used the on-line form and it is so nice and easy! Thanks!

Tried to get on the KS site to get a license and there is no option there for a falconry license. Don't know if they just haven't updated it yet or if that just won't be available on-line.

You don't need a falconry license, just an out of state hunting license. Last year around $72, good all year, state waterfowl and/or upland game a little more.

If you want to trap in Kansas, that's super easy too.

No problem, Fred, but I have had one person contat me and say that their registration had been returned because of a wrong address. I am sure the address SNAFU has been corrected. Thanks for all your help.
