This is my first post here at NAFEX. It's great to find this place and I'm sure you'll see some more from me as I'll be taking my falconry exam this next month and plan on starting my mews here shortly.
My name is Dave and I'm from upstate NY in Chenango County.

I'm into wildlife photography a bit and had the opportunity to go out with my buddy and his PFRT this spring hunting rabbits.
My buddys grandson named her George. Told him it's a girl - he said that's ok - George is a good name for her . lol.
I took my camera in hopes of getting some good shots of her in action.
No kill shots that day but did get some flight shots of her.
These were all taken with a Nikon D300 DSLR. Next time I need to take my smaller lens - the Nikon 70-200 f/2.8. The 200-400 was just too big for much of the action that day.
Here's George..

While out hunting with her the week before they found a dead buck - too bad, he was a nice one.

Well hope you enjoyed the pics as much as I did taking them. I'll post up some of my favorite raptor shots from last year in another thread.
Take care and once again it's nice to have found this place.
