Not a classic "dog on point" shot, but here's Big Fat Lou basking in the light of success after he barked so much the squirrel fell dead out of the tree and my hawk jumped on it.

After a successful flight on Gambel's quail in the Sonoran desert.

Sadie, 9 year old English Pointer, helping out with another goshawk. Sadie has helped me out with at least 35 falconry birds in her time... She's the best falconry dog I've ever known. Came out of Advie kennels in Scotland, (owned and operated by Darry Argue who is a devoted austringer and breeder of Pointers and Setters)

Here are some coursing dogs belonging to a local falconer....hotblood greyhound (Jake) and longdog Tazy (Cisco). They are teamed with a gyr/saker.

My new Tazy pup (Lucy and daughter of Cisco). I hope to pair her with a prairie next year as well as coursing with other local dogs.

Jake is not a hotblood greyhound Bryan, he has border collie, Tazi and saluki in him as well. he just looks very greyhoundy but I doubt he is more than one third greyhound.

Thanks Terence. I couldn't remember Jake's lines. Interesting with all that mix in him that he really does look like a greyhound.

Love those photos of Percy (?). Those are classic. Hard to take photos like that when you're hunting. Someone knew what they were doing, had a good lens and a fast motor drive...and a little luck.

Fred, I'm amazed that your dog can move that fast with only one front leg, and no hind feet. Amazing!

Seriously though,.... I love the pointers!

I hope Heather keeps Paint intact so we can make some naturally that way.

Seriously, Heather was ready to ship paint and my wife overruled. Not now was the request. I hope Heather can hang with her intact.

I'm not sure if I posted these before or not. They are Jack Russell/beagle crosses bred by Dan Pike. VERY game little dogs. The male is the blockier of the 2 and weighs around 19lbs. The female is longer-legged and weighs in at about 11-12lbs. No furry things are safe around these guys. Beagle nose, JR tenacity.

    Default Introducing Abbey

This is Abbey, she's been here since May 11th, so I thought I'd better introduce her. She came from the Black Hills area of South Dakota via Dan O'Brien. Whelped Mar 27th, the day before my birthday. I've been real happy with her so far. Looking forward to season now. 001.jpg

had a jack russel/beagle a few years back, really laid back dog all day, then bark ALL NIGHT LONG, lol. He would tree squirrels and cats, and then make them stay there all day long, haha. he was a really sweet dog, but he ran away and we couldn't find him...
