    Default Howdy All

Howdy all. My name is Jim Guy from Austin TX. I have flown birds since 1996. Trying to be patient waiting for the heat to subside so I can get 6 yr Peregrine Falcon back in the air. Also fly 5 yr old passage HH at sparrows, bunnies and anything else that moves.

Been laid up since June recovering from foot surgery but starting to hobble around again. Should be good as "new" by hawking season.

Hey Brandi. Heard you moved back to TX. Knew you couldn't stay away for long. How are things?

    Hi Jim,

I'm not back yet....we are moving Saturday! I can't wait. I have really missed Texas!!! Things are good. My knees are acting up again, so not sure how well the upcoming season will go, but other than that, life is great!

Here's wishing you a speedy recovery.

Thanks for the thought. I had a bunion and hammer toe on rigth foot corrected by an orthopedic sugeon on June 17. Been putting it off for over 10 years and finally had it done. The only thing I have really missed is being in the HOT sweltering Texas sun at work since then. (NOT!!!) Hope to go back to work in the next 2 weeks or so. It will break up the monotony of sitting around the house for sure.

Kinda bummed I didn't get picked for a passage peregrine permit, but oh well. Maybe next year...

Careful on your move back to Tejas.
