    Default Code problems??

I'm having issues with this site and I'm pretty sure it's my computer but I have no idea what caused it or what i can do about it. I can't use the quick response button, only the quote button; the smileys won't work, they don't respond when I click on them; and the return/enter button won't register when I hit submit... ie... it won't separate paragraphs but puts everything together. I seem to remember having these same problems once before, about a year ago, and it lasted 2-3 weeks then went away. Are there any 'puter guru's on here that may have some ideas as to what I can do? It's only doing it with this site, no where else...

Firefox. Do you think it could be from one of their upgrades?

Any other firefox users having problems?

I am using safari and it is working fine for me.

I dunno, whenever it pops up with update/upgrade available I just click go. Not sure if this started around the same time as the last update or not... I've slept since then. hehehe

Krys was having the exact same problem. He defragged his computer and problem went away.

I have the exact same issue with firefox intermittently. It's maddening. Defragging helped for a short period. Unlike Mario said the problem did NOT go away. I sometimes have to jump onto IE to post and have no problems with it. I hate IE. Other than that I have no answer how to fix it.

No problems with google chrome. But I think it is the same makeup as safari.

Clear your temp files and cookies. If firefox its under tools and clear recent history. Just check cookies and cache.

YOu might check what addons you have installed in fiirefox. Then disable them and enable them one at a time. to see if an addon has caused the problem.

You might want to run spybot, your pc may have a cold.
Don't install any of the extra bells and whistles, it's hard to keep track of what they do exactly.

I have found some functions need to be pressed twice to work using FF, like "Edit".
