Thank you very much Laj. Unfortunately, although pleased with the artwork, I was not pleased with the shape of the hood and have to do a re-do ."Koi" Meets "Girl" is in the dumpbin on the way to the local landfill.

Just got this hood in the mail, and I'm thrilled with it! I had to share. I was one of those folks who was also wanting to "STOP that garbage truck" and Ken and I got to chatting about it, and this is what he churned up;

As I said to Ken, the irony that he was making this hood while Japan was in turmoil, was not wasted on me.

I have to brace myself every time I look at one of Ken's masterpiece. It blows my mind trying to figure out how it was dyed. *head explodes*

Not yet,, the only animals so far have been fish and birds, both inside and outside the hood. Dog breeds would look good especially pointing with a falcon overhead or Harris in a tree..
OR Heather how about this? One with a noose around Duffy's neck for all the practical jokes,, in fact I am going to do one for him!!

Ken, I have not made a single hood since. I've been busy with a small project around the house and making a few giant hoods. But thanks for the reminder, I think it is time to clear the table for some dyes and leather again.

And to folks who doesn't know how helpful Ken is. I have a question for Ken on how to achieve a certain shade of color. The man went down stair, mix up 3 different shade of light blue, snap some pictures and gave me some ideas to play with. Thanks again Ken!

Again I thank you. Laj, you make a real nice hood and it would be a shame if you stopped. Don't you miss the aroma of leather , glue and dyes? LOL
